As owner of LFD Consults, Chief Executive Officer of Jouets International, entrepreneur, and motivational speaker, LaToya has mastered how to help others reach and exceed their goals of successful business creation, development and ownership. She has combined her understanding of marketing principles, business branding and digital resources to develop a business formula that produces positive results. LaToya specializes in helping her clients build their business and industry awareness which leads to revenue growth and business expansion. Each client receives individualized consulting that consists of leadership and staff development, brick and mortar development, business expansion development, and, if desired, exit strategy management. Many of these systems were perfected during LaToya’s ownership of I Heart Hair, a luxury hair extension business. I Heart Hair flourished and opened multiple boutique locations made the company one of the fastest growing hair distributors in the industry. 

A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Alabama State University and a Masters of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Strayer University serve as the foundation of her business understanding, but experience in the field has helped her become a marketing and business development expert. LaToya’s clients benefit from her goals-driven approach and her extensive understanding of how businesses should pivot based on data and market trends. Because of LaToya’s approach to entrepreneurship and business consultation, her client base is expanding quickly, and her clients are achieving great success. In addition to her storied career as a marketing specialist and accomplished business woman, she has offered life-saving guidance to teens and young adults as Chapter Director of Show Me Shoes and as Program Coordinator of the Bridgeway College Fund. Through these organizations, she has led the mission of providing resources to under-resourced communities and scholars to make higher education more affordable. Her successful leadership within these organization stems from her commitment to continuously meet them at their greatest need and to stand in the trenches for the youth and for young women.
